About Cryptopia

Cryptopia is a next-gen metaverse game based entirely on the blockchain that provides players a grand opportunity to earn as they play. From inception, it was created with the idea that it wouldn’t be like any other blockchain game out there, especially because it’s designed with fun gameplay.

Cryptopia has actively been growing & developing, and we want to make sure our investors and community members are up to date with everything we’ve been working on.

Events

Coinweb

Pichapen, our CMO, and Divesh, our Social Media Manager both attended an event hosted by Coinweb, with guest panelists discussing the blockchain gaming industry. This well informed panel had some amazing takes on the setbacks, how to overcome them, and what the future of blockchain gaming will potentially look like. We were really happy to see how much the gaming sector of blockchain has grown and it was a productive time networking with their team and other project members. We’re looking forward to the one next month!

Girls Night

We held our first ever Girls Night this month on our Discord with the Women of Cryptopia! It was a very fun and interactive session with the community. There were plenty of games and fun quizzes with some prizes handed out as well.

Factions Litepaper Release

This month we launched the new Litepaper for each Faction, in the perspective of the faction adviser – Tech (Sam Clark), Traditional (Jane Brown), Industrial (Peter Nolan) and Eco (John Smith); the last two factions extend into October. In each Litepaper we hid an Easter Egg, and we raffled out a random winner for each. Throughout the week we put out educational posts about different aspects of that faction; from what the faction is about to their gameplay mechanics. We even held Twitter Spaces and AMAs based around that faction’s ideology!

Cryptopia Academy

Cryptopia Academy is our newly launched educational video playlist on everything about Cryptopia, hosted by Lauderic Labapis, our Community Manager. We launch a new video almost daily keeping our community educated about Cryptopia. We expect this to be a gateway for new players and investors to join the game in confidence.

Twitter Spaces

We continue with our weekly Twitter Spaces as usual with guests from the blockchain industry. This month our Twitter Spaces included Faction centric topics as well due to the Faction Week we’ve been having. Some of the topics of our Twitter Spaces were Going Green w/ Blockchain Technology, Crypto Marketing, Future of Gaming, and Technologies that will Shape our Future just to name a few. AMA

In the beginning of the month, John Mark, one of our Game Developers featured in the monthly AMA. It took place on Discord and he ran us through all the development updates of August. We held two other AMAs as previously mentioned, centered around the Faction week. The Tech and Traditional AMAs were both very interesting to be part of, and we were joined by some community members as our panelists too! There is so much happening in Cryptopia now, especially on the development end, in preparation for our big Demo launch on October 31st!
